Inter-library loans

If the item you are looking for is not included in the collections of your own library, it can be ordered from other libraries as an inter-library loan. You can also request article copies and they are supplied as prints.

An inter-library loan and article ordered from any Finnish library is free of charge for the students of Centria UAS. Please notice, a 5,00 € fee is charged if the item is not fetched by the customer, this also applies to the students of Centria UAS.

Inter-library loan request

Inter-library loans follow the rules and instructions of the sending library. Please notice, library does not order inter-library loans on materials which are on Centria Library collections.

Book transports

Weekly book transfers run between two service points of Centria Library. Transportation day is Wednesday.
Customers can request books from the other library, if books in their own library are not available, by making a request in Centria-Finna and selecting their own home library as a pick-up place.
Books ordered as a transport service are free of charge.

Printing and scanning

Printing from computers at Centria UAS is possible only for students and staff of Centria

Printing is connected to the UAS Printing Management System. If you want to print, make sure you enough credits in your user account. You can check the balance in the PaperCut icon found on the school computers desktop. 

For more printing credit, you can buy from the library's customer service.

With the library's multifunction device you can also scan free of charge. The scanned file can be sent direct to your own email.
