Renewing

  • you have fees over the debt limit, or
  • your patron information is expired.

Please contact your library in case you have problems in renewing.

You can return borrowed books to the automated shelf in the library. When the campus is closed you can return books to the locked box right next to the main doors both in Kokkola and in Ylivieska.

You are obliged to pay overdue fines for items that are returned or renewed after the due date. Overdue fines are not collected on days when library is closed.

Inter-library loans must be returned to the customer service desk.

Requests & holds

You can place a request for books that are loaned out in Centria-Finna, at library service counter, by phone or by e-mail. You can also place a hold to a book which is available in shelf.

Requests and holds are free of charge. You will be notified by e-mail when the requested book has arrived for you to pick up. The book is kept for one week for you to pick up. If you don't pick up the book within a week there will be a fine of 1 € per book.
