The open RDI activities, learning and innovation ecosystem of universities of applied sciences is a key project of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The project is coordinated by Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. The implementation period of the project is 1.1.2018-31.12.2020.
	-  The aim of the project is to strengthen the open operating culture competence of higher education institutions with the help of new operating methods, as well as the sustainable use of materials and the impact of the results. The focus is on opening up various data, publications and results, as well as on developing cooperation methods.
 
- The project is coordinated by Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, which is also responsible for the implementation of the work packages together with Laurea University of Applied Sciences.  Other participants in the project are Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences, Karelia University of Applied Sciences, Lahti University of Applied Sciences, Lapland University of Applied Sciences, Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Turku University of Applied Sciences, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences and Aalto University.
 
-  The contents of the guide are based on the Open RDI activities in universities of applied sciences guide prepared in the "Increasing openness in the user-driven innovation ecosystem of higher education institutions" project (2015–2017). In addition, the guidelines of different higher education institutions and, in particular, the guidelines of the FSD and the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman have been utilised in compiling the contents. The images in the guide are CC0 licensed or acquired for the use of SeAMK Library.
