Many courses have written assignments, which are written in a form of an essay. The essay is a factual and independent text. The essay is a critical, analytical and reflective piece of writing that begins with a relevant introduction (the opening paragraph in a shorter essay) and ends with a summary (the concluding paragraph in a shorter essay). The content of a fluent essay is structured and the text flows logically.
The essay is written in one of the following fonts: Times New Roman 12 pt, Arial 12 pt or Palatino 12 pt. The text is spaced 1.5 lines apart. Otherwise, the lines are filled in. It is useful to vary the length of the paragraphs. The recommended paragraph length is 8-12 lines. The spacing between paragraphs should be zero.
